The coronavirus pandemic could wipe up to 20%, or USD14bn off the value of hotel brands. Consultant Brand Finance, in its latest ranking, places Hilton as the most valuable hotel brand.

Premier Inn is the strongest hotel brand globally, while Mercure is the fastest growing. Despite recent problems, Airbnb still has a brand ranked at USD10.5bn in value.
