• Aussie domestic boost

Australian hoteliers could see business boosted, as international trips remain off the agenda. Consultants say the 28m nights lost to international visitors could be replaced by up to 36m domestic visitor nights, reports AFR.

The prediction is modelled around expectations that international travel will not resume for several months. Analysts Dransfield say Australians will switch to domestic trips, favouring city and regional hotels.
